Haptica introduces ProMIS-J - a junior version of ProMIS with many of the key features of the original
ProMIS-J comprises a clear acrylic 'box' with a laptop computer. Users practice on tasks using real instruments and a model laparoscopic camera - ProMISCam-J.
The ProMISCam - as well as providing a laparoscopic view - records video of the users performance.
A combination of ProMIS and ProMIS-J simulators provides Skills Centers with an integrated training solution that optimises budget and space. Users can practice on the same Tasks, but assessment and testing is done on the ProMIS simulator.
